The latest collaboration between Frank Ockenfels 3 and Santigold is the exciting new music video for “Fall First.” The song is the closing track on the album, and this video vignette is a call back to Santi’s DIY punk rock roots.
Her new album ‘Spirituals‘ marks the return from a four-year break and Santi’s first released album on her label, Little Jerk Records. “Fall First” follows the release of “High Priestess,” “Nothing,” and “Ain’t Ready” from ‘Spirituals.’
In a Rolling Stones story on the album, Santi says, “It wasn’t until I made the space to create that I realized these songs were a lifeline and a way to connect to a higher version of myself and go deeper. I’ve never written lyrics faster in my life; they were pouring out of me.”
