Rising Alt-pop band MUNA was photographed by Frank Ockenfels 3 for Alternative Press. Frank is one of the world’s most sought-after portrait photographers, having captured some of the greatest actors and musicians.
MUNA consists of Naomi McPherson, Katie Gavin, and Josette Maskin. Three outspoken, queer, badass women who are taking the music world by storm. As recently as 2021, they signed to Pheobe Bridgers record label Saddest Factory Records and released a song featuring Pheobe called ‘Silk Chiffon.’ Currently, they are openers for Kacey Musgrave on a North America tour, but we will be watching these ladies rise for many years to come.
