I stumbled across this site, the blog of a young artist named Hong Yi (or “Red” for short).
She is also known as the artist who ‘loves to paint, but not with a paintbrush’. Her painting of Yao Ming with a basketball and Jay Chou using coffee were Youtube hits.
This video is one my personal favorite of her works, this fabulous portrait of Adele made entirely of melted candles and wax!
