Last week Apple announced its most ambitious foray into music yet. Twelve years after launching the iTunes music store and turning digital music into big business, the company is rolling out a new music app that combines on-demand streaming and 24/7 radio broadcasts, as a well as a social network for artists to connect with fans. As music-mogul-turned-Apple-exec Jimmy Iovine said in announcing Apple Music, “It’s all the ways you love music all in one place.”
Apple has chronicled all the ways people have loved music since the days of the gramophone in a new ad to promote Apple Music.
