The NY Times Sunday Magazine has a wonderful section each week called LOOK. Last Sunday ( July 1st ) there was a piece on Bunny Yeager the photographer. I was so excited to read that there will be a book coming out in September from Rizzoli called Bunny Yeager’s Darkroom. Bunny – born Linnea Eleanor – started out behind the lens and then became one of the leading photographers of her time and most famous for her images of the great and iconic Bettie Paige. Bunny is 83 years old and still goes to her studio every day! Such an inspiration as a woman and as an artist that many photographers still reference and are constantly inspired by. It will be so good to see more of her iconic images in a new book.
