CHANTAL ANDERSON SHOOTS MULTI-TALENTED MUSICIAN FINNEAS FOR THE NEW YORK TIMES

Chantal Anderson spent the day shooting Finneas and his dog, Peaches, in his home and studio in Los Angeles, CA.

Finneas is a singer-songwriter, record producer, and audio engineer best known for his work as the other half of pop superstar (and his sister) Billie Eilish’s writing and producing team. Together the two have put out 2 studio albums, winning them 8 Grammys.  The New York Times feature is his debut as a solo artist with his new album “Optimist,” released on Oct. 15th.

Describing this new work and what it means to him, he says, “– it’s really fulfilling to make something exactly how I want it to be and then put it out and live with it. It’s just me on this album. There’s no one else sharing the oxygen.”
