Dutch director Paul Verhoeven is in the spotlight of El País ICON. His new movie ‘Benedetta’ based on the book Shameful Affects. Sister Benedetta: Entre Santa y lesbiana (1987) premiered to mixed and controversial reviews at the Cannes film festival this year.
