212 Photography Istanbul has invited Frank Ockenfels 3 to showcase his celebrated David Bowie photographs in this year’s festival. Known for his distinctive use of light, texture, and experimentation, Frank’s images of Bowie are among his most iconic works, capturing the legendary artist’s ever-evolving persona with depth and creativity.
The 7th edition of 212 Photography Istanbul takes place in late September through mid-October, transforming the city into a hub for photography, contemporary art, and cultural exchange. The festival spans exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, and panels, drawing international artists and audiences together.
We’re thrilled to see Frank’s timeless work with David Bowie highlighted on such a global stage, continuing the dialogue between music, art, and photography.
