Hi there everyone, Happy Friday – it’s Laura again guest blogging!
I’m not sure if you all know, but I am originally from Orange County, Newport Beach to be exact (a whopping 45 minutes south of Los Angeles) but it always feels like a different world down there.
During the summer, I like to visit on the weekends, bike down to the beach and get on the water. I always say it’s like the Hamptons for me now, living and working in LA.
That’s besides the point, but this week I had the pleasure of making the trek to the OC for meetings, which of course is a very different experience but equally enjoyable, especially since I was in the presence of such great company!
I went down to meet with Oakley at their headquarters, which you will see above – definitely didn’t disappoint. I only wish I was able to capture the indoors, it blew me away! Although we’ve worked with Oakley many times, I had never been here. It was great experience, you really get a feel of the brand just walking onto and around their campus.
I also had a fantastic meeting at Quiksilver, and of course loved the vibe there as well. Everyone there was incredibly friendly, people walking in from their “surf breaks” – you just feel an honest excitement for the work they do there and appreciation for the work we do as an agency.
All and all, it was a great visit down and of course, a BIG thank you to the people who made the time to see me and look through all of the work!
