Today is David Bowie’s 66th birthday and he has released a new song to mark the occasion! Where Are We Now is on I Tunes and the video is above and I already love the song. He announced today that there is a new album coming out in March. How excited am I? There will also be a landmark show – ” David Bowie is ” at the Victoria and Albert Museum that opens in March 2013 too. From the V&A website: ” The V&A has been given access to the David Bowie Archive to curate the first international retrospective of the extraordinary career of David Bowie. ” David Bowie is ” will feature more than 300 objects that include handwritten lyrics, original costumes, fashion, photography, film, music videos, set designs and Bowie’s own instruments. ” Several of Frank Ockenfels’ images of David will be featured in the show.
