In San Francisco earlier this year for the Le Book Connections show I was invited to at the fabulous Battery a new private club to a wonderful afternoon get together.
Community Table was formed from the collective efforts of Matt Nycz and Kate Chase of Brite Productions and Heather Elder and Lauranne Lospalluto of Heather Elder Represents with the idea that there is nothing more powerful in our industry than education.
This is the 5th series of posts where they share the results from our conversations held directly with people in the community about top-of-mind photo-industry issues.
And for this series they invited artists’ agents; Deb Ayerst, Ayerst Artists’ Agent, Howard Bernstein, Bernstein & Andrulli, Marge Casey, Wave Represents, Jen Jenkins, Giant Artists and myself to join them for some serious talk.
Thank you to Heather and Kate and Matt and Lauranne for all your work in putting this together and creating this great opportunity for us and for the community to share. I want to acknowledge all of them for doing this on a regular basis and having the intention that we can all benefit from sharing information and bringing people together to talk about our industry.
This whole series is interesting and informative so check out their blogs ( see tags ) to read up but for the one I was part of:
Lets go RIGHT TO THE MAIN COURSE
See Part One here
And now for DESSERT see Part Two here
