JORGE PARDO’S HOUSE PHOTOGRAPHED BY THE INGALLS FOR HIS UPCOMING BOOK

This Mt. Washington house was built in 1998 and designed by artist and MacArthur Genius grant-winner Jorge Pardo with the intention of having it be a walk-through art piece. The house was on exhibit for five weeks by the Museum of Contemporary Art, wrote the New York Times in 2007, when Pardo was still living in the house with his family. You can find the house in the Mount Washington area of Los Angeles.

Jorge Pardo is a Cuban-American artist and sculptor. Pardo’s artwork explores the intersection of contemporary painting, design, sculpture, and architecture. He lives and works in Mérida, Mexico.

These images were shot for Jorge Pardo’s upcoming book publication for the Petzel Gallery
