LAWSUIT DROPPED AGAINST NORTH SIX

This is an update to last week’s post regarding Balenciaga and its lawsuit against North Six.

They have dropped their lawsuit against North Six and Nicholas de Jardins. The brand pivoted from its previous stance and took full responsibility for its actions around its recent ad campaign that garnered outrage on the internet.

Artist Management Association (AMA) responded by saying, “…clients retain this exclusive authority to release campaign imagery to the public, they must take responsibility for all legal disputes that arise therefrom. In the case of Balenciaga, we are happy to see them make the decision to do just that. Anything else would be a deviation from the industry standard.”
