Today we bring you these colorful and gorgeous images of the place where one of the most famous guitarists of all times retired.
Chantal Anderson photographs Linda Ramone in the Los Angeles home that she had shared with Johnny Ramone, for S Moda, the fashion magazine of the most popular newspaper in Spain, El Pais. You can see the article here.
Linda revealed that she collects fashion, music and movie memorabilia and maintains a museum-like house with an Elvis room, horror room, Disney room and rock and roll room.
For those who want a little more of reading, here is the story of one of the greatest love triangles in all of rock ‘n’ roll. As a teenager Linda Ramone met the Ramones at a New York nightclub, a few years later in Los Angeles, she reconnected with frontman Joey Ramone and a romance began. Joey and Linda seriously dated for more than three years, and their affair inspired several Ramones classics, including “She’s a Sensation” and “Danny Says.” But when Linda went on the road with the group, she grew close to Joey’s bandmate, Johnny Ramone, and eventually these two fell in love. Linda subsequently left Joey for Johnny, married Johnny in 1984, and stayed with Johnny until his death.
