The late rock star David Bowie, best known for his genre-bending art and formidable impact on western music, will have a commercial release of a never-heard-before album entitled ‘Toy.’
‘Toy’ was recorded in 2001 and aimed to re-record songs he’d first laid down between 1964-1971. unfortunately, this project was shelved and never released until now. Co-producer on the project, Plati, described the work as “Toy is like a moment in time captured in an amber of joy, fire, and energy.”
The release will feature unpublished photographs taken by Frank Ockenfels 3 from his extensive David Bowie archive.
