Our hearts go out to the people and animals who have lost their homes this past week in all of the devastating fires.
Although the fire did get too close for comfort (we could see the smoke from our windows), we are thanking our lucky stars that we have not yet been affected.
Others near and dear to us were not so fortunate and have lost their homes.

Ojai is on watch tonight as fires get closer to the beautiful town and the Santa Ana winds pick up. We keep them and all the others dealing with this in our thoughts and prayers.
