I am in NYC and I saw this exhibition at Gagosian Gallery on West 21st Street in Chelsea. It is a unique show because this is the first time all of Avedon’s murals have been shown together. The installation is amazing and this show is a must see if you are in NYC before July 27th, 2012. There is also a book that accompanies the show. There is a lot of ephemera displayed with the images like the original model releases from the Avedon studio that many of the subjects signed and Avedon’s press pass from the 1960’s. Such a good show!!
