We here at Eye Forward were dismayed to learn that next season – Season Six – will be the last one for the acclaimed and much loved English series.
Perry Ogden had the pleasure of shooting one of the main actors Michelle Dockery a while back so we thought to post this wonderful image of her as well as his strong portrait of the creator and writer Julian Follows.
It is indeed a sad occasion for all the lovers of the dramas of Downtown Abbey and the great stories that Julian Follows has woven about the people living upstairs and downstairs in an English manor house at a very interesting time in history. These kinds of series set the benchmark for better and better television which Masterpiece Theater has been consistently producing for many years.
We will be sad to see it all end…..
