Heather Hazzan had an incredible time capturing these stunning images of the beloved comic actor and disability advocate Selma Blair for Self Magazine. This shoot was done in collaboration with the Creative Director Amber Venerable.
The article covers Selma’s 2018 multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis and how she has since opened up about her health so freely that she’s now one of the most prominent faces of disability advocacy in Hollywood.
“I always say how visibility matters for the disabled,” she says. “Well, visibility matters for everyone. You have to show that you’re still alive.”
