animals were projected August 1st, 2015 in the evening on to the side of the Empire State Building.
Projecting Change: Empire State Building is a project by Obscura Digital made to promote the “Racing Extinction” documentary, which focuses on the growing number of endangered species. “It’s not a spectator sport anymore,” said it’s director Louie Psihoyos. “Everybody has to become active somehow.”
One of the images was of Cecil the lion – tragically hunted ( out of his preserve ) and killed the week before last in Zimbabwe by an American Dentist. This story has become huge through the media and the social media outlets and rightfully so.
I was happy to see the major airlines beginning bans on transporting big game hunting trophies – Delta Airlines just signed on read about that here
